Spear Danes and Shield Maidens

We are a living history group dedicating to reenacting the "Viking Age", specifically the 10th and 11th centuries (900-1000 AD). We study and recreate the technology, culture, and language of the Norse  peoples. We strive to present the Norse, not as the filthy barbarians of movies nor as the romanticized heroes of Wagner, but as they were; men and women making a living.
